In 1900, the Pennsylvanian stood as the gateway to the West. When traveling by railroad was not only fashionable, but innovative and technologically advanced, The Pennsylvanian Union connected New York to Philadelphia and Chicago – it was the center of communication. Today, this very center is not only a national treasure, but the very hub – The Rotunda – that gives entryway to The Pennsylvanian's Corporate and Residential homes, breathing new life to age-old history.
Hence, the very spirit that watched over nearly 10,000 travelers a day, watches over residents of The Pennsylvanian, as well as the many guests that attend our various special events – from weddings to corporate parties and meetings. Majestic structures and marble floors; 40 foot high translucent skylights that bathe the space in natural light – this is all a part of the magic of a space that joins together the amenities of today with the luxurious breath of a rich testimony to our golden past.
At the northern end of The Golden Triangle, The Pennsylvanian welcomes you to Pittsburgh's most prestigious address – cloaked in significance of, not only its present value, but also of its one-of-a-kind history. |
